Simple math on list prices, not a promise of income. Commission is figured on what the customer actually pays after discounts and before tax.
- Subscriptions: a share of every paid invoice for the first 12 months after the referral. It stops after 12 months.
- One-time purchases: the same share of that payment, once, if it happens within 12 months of the referral.
- 60-day cookie, first touch. The first affiliate link a visitor clicks gets the credit.
- Payouts through Stripe Connect only, to the bank account or debit card you connect. Transfers run on the 1st of each month when your unpaid balance is $50 or more; smaller balances roll forward.
- Commissions earned before you connect Stripe are held for you and released when setup is done.
- No self-referrals. Your own email or account never earns commission.
- Refunds and chargebacks reverse the commission on that payment.

FAQ
Who can join?+
Anyone 18 or older with a US bank account who can promote Iron Bid Exchange honestly. Accounts are approved right away so your link works the moment you sign up. We may remove affiliates who spam or mislead people.
When do I earn?+
When someone you brought pays. Pro Seller and Dealer subscriptions, plus listing Boosts. Subscriptions earn on every paid invoice for the first 12 months after that customer was referred. One-time payments earn once, as long as they happen within those 12 months. After 12 months the commission on that customer stops, even if they stay.
How long does my link keep counting?+
60 days. When someone clicks your link we save a cookie in their browser for 60 days. If they create an account or make their first purchase in that time, they become your referral. The first affiliate link they clicked is the one that counts.
How do the tiers work?+
Your rate depends on how many different referred customers paid in the last 30 days. Partner: 15% (0 to 4 active paying referrals). Pro: 20% (5 to 14 active paying referrals). Elite: 25% (15+ active paying referrals). The rate is set when each payment comes in, so bringing more paying customers raises what you earn on new payments.
How do I get paid?+
Only through Stripe. After signup you connect your own bank account or debit card with Stripe (it takes a few minutes and Stripe verifies your identity). On the 1st of each month, if your unpaid balance is $50 or more, it is transferred to your connected Stripe account automatically, and Stripe pays it out to your bank. Balances under $50 roll forward to the next month. There is no PayPal, Venmo or check option.
What happens if I have not connected Stripe yet?+
You still earn. Commissions are marked as held in your dashboard until you finish Stripe setup, then they move to your payable balance automatically.
Can I link to a specific page?+
Yes. Add ?ref=YOURCODE to any ironbidexchange.com address, for example the marketplace, a category, or a single machine listing. Every page works.
Can I refer myself?+
No. Signups and purchases from your own email or account do not earn commission.
What if a customer gets a refund?+
Refunds and chargebacks reverse the commission on that payment. If it was already paid out, the matching amount is pulled back from your Stripe transfer.
How do I see my stats?+
After signup you get a private dashboard link showing your clicks, signups, held, unpaid and paid commissions, and your Stripe payout status.
Do sellers pay more when they come through my link?+
No. They pay the same price shown on the Pricing page. Your commission comes out of what Iron Bid Exchange earns.
Do I earn on equipment sales?+
No. Iron Bid Exchange does not take a cut of classified sales, so there is nothing to share there. You earn on the paid seller plans and Boosts that people you referred buy.
Can these terms change?+
Yes. Iron Bid Exchange may update the program terms. Changes apply to payments made after the update is posted on this page.
